Wayne Largent, President / Co-founderWayne often jokes that he has to stay in the computer field because he just doesn't know anything else. He has worked at programming, tech support, hardware sales, software sales, project management and managed development teams. After 25 years in the computer industry, Wayne thought it was time to start a company and put into practice all the things he had learned. Teaming up with Maung, who he had worked with for over 12 years, they created MindStreams. Wayne has a Masters degree in Computer Science. He has two American Bulldogs, a large box turtle and a huge aquarium. He likes to ride his motorcycle and hang out on his boat that he refurbished. Maung M. Htun, Chief Operating Officer / Co-founderMaung Htun (pronounced Mao Toon) is a nuclear physicist turned computer programmer. He earned his Ph. D. in Nuclear Physics from Kent State University, then took a job in nuclear medical imaging. When the company downsized a few years later, he switched to programming. Maung's technical expertise ranges from Perl/CGI to .NET, while his personal preference of development environment is LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) specializing in online insurance applications. In order to keep up with Web 2.0 trends, his R & D projects include improving usability by utilizing AJAX, and JQuery. Maung also is a Principal Certified Lotus Professional and Microsoft Certified Professional. In his spare time, Maung enjoys doing yard work, cooking, eating, playing golf, training karate, and drinking scotch. |
